If you're looking to compile a list of must-try dishes, don't miss the Torta de Al Pastor for its generous portions. The Quesabirria is another highlight, though it comes recommended with a side of consume for that extra dip of flavor. And for spice lovers, while the diablo shrimp might not pack a serious punch, its flavor profile is certainly worth a try.
Overall, Taqueria El Kabron Jr. is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of authentic Mexican cuisine wrapped in the warmth of a community eatery. Whether you're a local or just passing through San Diego, this taqueria is an experience not to be missed!

What? I know I had rates this place but Google says no señor. Ok so the food is good the service is good. The combo of a carne asada mulita with rice and beans is about $10. I say that is pretty good

This was a quick stop for a work trip and the food was amazing. I tried a few different mini tacos and the asada, pastor, and cabeza and all the meats were tender and flavorful. Would highly recommend

I got the Torta de Al Pastor and the portions are huge and so good!!! Quesabirria is also good but you have to order a side of consume for $2.45. The diablo shrimp is also good but not spicy at all

This place is located inside a little liquor and market store. They make some pretty good street tacos and burritos. I had the adobada and chorizo tacos. They were tasty, and all of them came with a very good amount of meats. The guacamole on the adobada tacos was very good. The service was friendly. The place is no frills, but it works. There's some seats inside, but most of their business is to go.

A simple good little place to get a quick bite. Had a bean, cheese, potato and egg burrito that was enormous for less than 10 dollars! Didn't eat anything the rest of the day, didn't need to. The salsas were tasty. Very good deal. Can't beat it.

This place looks incredibly sketchy but the tacos are 10/10. I've never gotten sick. Chicken, adobada and carne asada are all delightful.

Smelled the grill as I was driving by and had to stop by to see what’s cookin’. Ordered tacos de asada, pastor and got a burrito. Hot sauce is crucial for taco stands…their green was good, a hit of heat but not too hot. Serrano chiles on the side with lemon wedges. I was pleased. Great people here, come check them out.
